VOLAS develops and produces optical distance sensors which are able to measure distances contact-free by laser light with an accuracy of a few micrometers. For this purpose we use measurement methods such as laser triangulation and laser interferometry.
VOLAS is located near the Aachen Central Station.
For the support of our innovative team, we are looking for students who want to complement their theoretical knowledges they have acquired during their studies through practical experiences.
In our development department, we use modern tools for developing printed circuit boards, for mechanical design, for design of the optical systems as well as for the analysis of measurement data and for simulation of evaluation and filter algorithms.
